Hearing about Jack's passing from my brother Paul today really sent me on a nostalgia trip. I thought Jack was one of the kindest men I've ever known in my life and I know my parents felt the same. Do you all remember the time your Dad went up and all the way over the horse all those years ago out at the old cabin? It is one of my fondest childhood memories. Your parents and mine were hoots when they got together.
God blessed you all with a wonderful, loving father who was given a long life. I feel blessed too to have known him.

I am very sad to hear of the loss of the inimitable Jack Dawson. I will always fondly remember his wit, humor,and gentle manner...... A true shining star!.....
I was also present when Jack fell off the horse (His name was Diablo) and rolled down the hill at the Sardinia cabin. It was like a scene from Charlie Chaplin... Hysterical and unforgettable.

A lovely man with a lovely family who lived a good life.
Truly blessed.....

Pat, Cassie and Molly and I want to express our sincere sympathy to all of you for Jack's passing. We will remember him fondly, and his ever present smile. He was a wonderful man, husband and father and will truly be missed. Hopefully you can take comfort in knowing that he is truly happy now that he has been reunited with Dorothy.
