Lorraine C. Gresock

Biography

Lorraine C. Gresock of the Town of Lewiston passed away on Friday, June 1, 2012. She was 67. She was born in Niagara Falls on December 29, 1944, a daughter of the late Bruno and Agnes (Strack) Sunicki. She attended local schools and graduated from SUNY Brockport in 1966.
She has left behind a family bereft with a loss irreplaceable but gladdened by her fervent hope of joining the Lord in Paradise forevermore.
Mrs. Gresock was employed as a teacher at Colonial Village School for 39 years. She was a member of the executive board of Colonial Village Home School Group, Alpha Delta Kappa (serving as chaplain of Upsilon Chapter), Lewiston #2 Fire Hall and the Lewiston #2 Ladies Auxiliary, 5 year member of the Salvation Army advisory board. Lorraine loved travelling, camping, walking, reading and singing.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, James Gresock, two children, Jessica (Richard) Burnham and her son James (Sheila) Gresock II. She is also survived by her sister Joan (Bill) Clemons; two grandchildren, Nicholas P. and Johnathan T. McCasey, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC. 8622 Buffalo Ave. on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where services will be held Wednesday at 11 AM. Burial will be at the convenience of the Family. If desired, donations may be made to Niagara Hospice House, 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, N.Y. 14094
