Life Legacy
Helena Catherine "Katie" Dietrich, age 49, of Niagara Falls passed away at St. Mary's Hospital on Saturday, June 25, 2011. She was born in Buffalo, New York on April 26, 1962, a daughter of James and Frances (Hartridge) McGourty.
Mrs. Dietrich attended local schools and most recently was employed at Ponderosa on Niagara Falls Boulevard. She enjoyed cooking, baking, swimming, and walking her dog, Pookie.
She is survived by two sons, Mark D. Dietrich of New York City and James Dietrich of Orchard Park; her sister, Deborah (Amos) Hallenbeck; and her brother, Donald McGourty.
Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Ave., on Friday from 3-7 PM, where services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
